Curd-Rice is one of the most comfortable food on my list. Perfectly balanced with a sizzling tempering of fresh curry leaves,green-chili and peanuts is my way of making it.Sharing  the  Best Curd Rice Recipe here.

Some make it with left-over rice and some like me make it fresh, a little warm. Be in your comfort zone at a cozy corner of your house and enjoy a warm bowl of Curd-Rice.In Summer days I just add chilled curd to it.

If you are getting invited for a South-Indian buffet, you will definitely find this in the menu.If you have a stomach upset then this is the food to go for.A spoonful of Curd is loaded with good bacteria that keep metabolism healthy.It helps in digestion and makes your body to absorb more nutrients.

I just love this creamy thing in any form.I make a curd-based dip whenever I fry fritters at home. Most of the time you will find me having a bowl of yogurt post lunch.While my Mom is blessed with the art of making a good curd at home, for me it’s still a tough job!

Tips to make Best Curd Rice Recipe

Curd Rice is very very easy to prepare. Cook Rice and all you need is just 2 minute to do the tampering. And it’s done. The best thing to pair is your favorite pickle or Majjiga Mirapakayalu (sun-dried curd chili).This dish has a cooling effect on your body too.

You can add fresh pomegranate or some shredded coconut which will enhance its beauty and taste.All we need to add little colors to our Life. Do what you like ..sing, Dance, travel or simply talk to strangers in a coffee-shop. Be Fearless to break the norm, make your own rules and follow your heart.

  1. Take cooked warm Rice.It should not be hot.Add curd ,salt and mix well.
  2. In a pan heat oil. Add mustard seed and let it splutter.Add sliced garlic only if you like the flavor.
  3. Add roasted peanuts, curry leaves, and chopped green chilis.Fry for a minute.
  4. Add turmeric powder and red chili powder. Remove the pan from flame. Add this tadka on top of rice and mixed well.
  5. Serve warm or cold. You can replace garlic with chopped ginger.
