Beaten Rice Parfait Recipe | No Cook Breakfast Recipe
I am talking about “Dahi chuda” or flattened rice with curd which is a traditional breakfast in Eastern states. Mostly people enjoy sweet version of this Parfait .Some like to startthe day with little spicy. These gluten-free flakes are a source of iron, carbohydrates & proteins .The calories in the beaten rice are not harmful as the sodium content is very less.

In preparing these rice flakes, grain undergoes partial fermentation and is supplemented with probiotic bacteria and vitamin B. So making it diabetic friendly too.
What is Beaten Rice
The very famous “Poha” (beaten rice pilaf)in Maharashtra are the cooked version of these rice flakes. While in Tamilnadu they make a traditional aval-ladoo out of it.
I have uplift the dish adding Chia-seed and sprouts making it more healthier. This is my 5th post in #BReaKurFastSeries , an effort to bring famous Indian Breakfast in this series.
