Jack-fruit , every one in my family fond of this.They like both the green and the ripe unlike me.
To me the raw version is vegetarian Mutton where as i can’t even resist to the smell once it starts ripening.
Why not we try to make jack-fruit kebabs ,that’s what i told my Mom yesterday.And I took the challenge ,believe me result was super delicious.
Kebab originating in Turkey got a dignified space in the cuisines of Middle East.
It is now found worldwide .The world Kebab means “Roasted Meat patty mixed with spices”.
The variety of Kebabs are seemingly endless.

Ingredients
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tbsp coriander Powder
- 1 tbsp Ginger paste
- 1 tbsp Garlic Paste
- 4 mango ginger
- 1 tsp basil leaves KashmirI red
- 1 tbsp spring onion Powder
- 1 tsp cumin seed
- 2 tbsp rose
- 2 tbsp jeera Fresh Chopped
- chili powder per taste

Instructions
- Add turmeric to water.Boil jack-fruit cubes in that until they are soft and done.
- Drain the water and cool them .Grind them coarsely in a grinder with green chilis.
- Add ginger garlic paste , red chili powder, coriander powder,chopped fresh coriander leaves, garam masala,salt per taste and mix well.
- Add gram flour for binding.Make small balls out of that (double the size of a lemon).
- Flatten those balls on your palm with wet fingers.
- Raw Jack-fruit
- Add 1 tbsp oil in a pan for frying at medium flame. Fry kebab in that until both side are done.
- Serve hot with mint chutney & onion slices.
