What is Turmeric
The use of turmeric dates back nearly 4000 years to the Vedic culture in India.

It is a magical spice which has a lot ,really lot of health benefits.It is a potent anti-inflammatory and anticancer agent.High in antioxidant too.Turmeric regulates menses and helps you in getting relief from abdominal cramps during these days. Good for skin as well with an antibacterial property.
In India everyone is familiar with turmeric milk Haldi wali doodh since childhood ,as this is the first medicine every Mom gives her child when they get cold.
When the whole world is getting crazy after Turmeric-Latte , it’s an old known face to us.
Interestingly people In South Africa, use turmeric in a traditional way to give boiled white rice a golden colour.

Traditionally cow milk is used to prepare this drink.Where a pinch of black-pepper is added because this will enhance the absorption of curcumin (the main component in turmeric).
While in today’s trend the latte is prepared using either coconut milk or almond milk.
So a vegan drink this way.

- 2 cups Almond Milk / coconut milk
- 1.5 tsps Turmeric turmeric Paste / Organic powder
- 1 tsp black pepper powder
- honey (opt)
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon powder
- 2 drops coconut oil (opt)
Ingredients

- Warm Milk for not more than a minute with black pepper powder at slow flame.
- Serve in tea-cup adding a pinch of cinnamon powder
- Add a drop of coconut oil in each cup.Add honey if you wish.
