A Ride to Billing ,Himachal Pradesh

As promised to the beautiful mountains we were sipping the morning tea at landing point tea-stall. I had been taken to a different world by mother nature. Lovely sight it was.Beyond all other trees the wheat plant crops bend’s to the wind’s desire dancing on a rhythm. I opted “wai wai” noodles for my breakfast beside them. It was very disappointing to hear from the shop owner that paragliding had been stopped for some days as a lady died while doing it in Manali. Oh Gosh! we were totally clueless what to do next. But still Dev had a hope…

Time to say Good-Bye to that Beautiful Village Garli, surrounded by looming mountains with a promise in heart to come again. Serene roads among the mountains made our ride even more enjoyable.we were not really strait-jacketed by schedule. We stopped at Jwala Mukhi Temple, one among the 52 Shakti Peethas. Sati’s tongue is believed to have fallen at Jwalamukhi and the goddess is manifest as tiny flames that burn a flawless blue through fissures in the age old rock.It is said…

Haridwar or Ganga-dwar is one of the holiest places for Hindus where thousand of pilgrims come and take bath in the sacred water of Ganges. When i saw the beauty of Ganga at Devprayag ,i was simply spellbound. The clean water and the purity of water that one can feel when you drink it ..!! But sadly its no more clean at Haridwar Ghats.Yes , you are there to take bath in the sacred water but it doesn’t mean to make the water pollute by washing clothes etc etc..Sprinkle few drops instead of doing a full body spa and do right…

Rishikesh

Again a last minute plan well executed by us ,me and my partner Dev .As a pillion on our Royal Enfield , I always enjoy the rides by my husband. In this world this edifice has been made to display, thereby, the Creator’s glory.” ~Shah Jahan ~ I still cherish that moment when i saw the first glimpse of the world’s greatest monument to love, The Taj Mahal.I was spellbound to see her beauty.A Gift from Human to the Earth in true sense. Built in the memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal by king shah-zahan, this white marble mausoleum is one of the universally recognized masterpieces of the world heritage. The mausoleum…
