The Pink City, Jaipur

The camaraderie of Bishnoism is what impressed me a lot.The spirit of standing together with sacrifice attitude is rare in this selfish world for the love of nature and wildlife. With a beautiful memory in heart, we left Bishnoi Village on 2nd Jan,2015 and headed towards Jaipur around 10 am in the morning. Route : Bishnoi Village Camp and Resort-Bar-Dangiyawas-Ajmer-Jaipur (340 km) There are plenty of dhabas on highways offering lip-smacking veg food.So don’t worry about choosing any particular one, you will even find brother-hood in their names like “Ram Dhaba”..”Sri Ram Dhaba” etc 😉 On our way we entered…

Rajasthan Diary – Osian ,Jodhpur (Day 3)

New year morning was so refreshing at Bishnoi Village ,calm and peaceful spreading it’s own colors and charm. As i stepped out the cottage door ,i noticed the morning was more brighter with absence of fog. we wanted to cling on to winter sun for as long as we possibly can.It was so soothing soaking up the sun 🙂

Haridwar / Devprayag

Haridwar / Devprayag Trip

Haridwar or Ganga-dwar is one of the holiest places for Hindus where thousand of pilgrims come and take bath in the sacred water of Ganges. When i saw the beauty of Ganga at Devprayag ,i was simply spellbound. The clean water and the purity of water that one can feel when you drink it ..!! But sadly its no more clean at Haridwar Ghats.Yes , you are there to take bath in the sacred water but it doesn’t mean to make the water pollute by washing clothes etc etc..Sprinkle few drops instead of doing a full body spa and do right…

Rishikesh

Again a last minute plan well executed by us ,me and my partner Dev .As a pillion on our Royal Enfield , I always enjoy the rides by my husband. Many times we had been asked that “Don’t you feel scared of travelling alone ? ” And we always say a big NO .Yes i do agree there is a chance when your engine fails that happened in this trip but you know where ?? The moment we reached back our parking space at Delhi ,the engine drained out all burnt engine oil ..Thank god ,that’s what we both shouted…

The City Of TAJ-MAHAL

“The sight of this mansion creates sorrowing sighs and makes sun and moon shed tears from their eyes. In this world this edifice has been made to display, thereby, the Creator’s glory.” ~Shah Jahan ~ I still cherish that moment when i saw the first glimpse of the world’s greatest monument to love, The Taj Mahal.I was spellbound to see her beauty.A Gift from Human to the Earth in true sense. Built in the memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal by king shah-zahan, this white marble mausoleum is one of the universally recognized masterpieces of the world heritage. The mausoleum…
