Instructions
  1. Soak dried chickpea overnight or for at least 4 hours. Boil them till they are done or pressure-cook for 2-3 whistle. Don’t overcook it.
  2. In a pan heat oil. Add asafoetida (hing) .
  3. Add cumin seed, mustard seed and let it sputter.
  4. Add curry leaves and boiled chickpeas. Add salt, chili powder to it. Mix well and let it cook for a minute at medium flame.
  5. Add lemon juice and grated coconut before serving.Serve warm.
