  1. Peel the Skin .Grate with the bigger hole of the grater. Add salt.
  2. Spread it on a big plate or bowl. Sun dry for 2 hours.
  3. In a deep Kadai add water and sugar to make syrup. Cook on medium to high flame till you reach one string consistency.
  4. Lower the flame add grated mango , Raisins, Cloves and mix well.
  5. Keep on stirring at medium flame for 5-7 minutes. Do not cover it.
  6. Let it cool completely at room temperature.Store it in an airtight dry container .
