Easy Rabdi Recipe , an Indian Festive Dessert

“I am the Atma abiding in the heart of all beings. I am also the beginning, the middle, and the end of all beings.”
― Krishna’s words in Bhagvat Gita

Lord Krishna appeared on the eighth day of the dark fortnight in the month of Bhadon as the eighth son of Devaki and Vasudeva. On this day, devotees fast till midnight & observe Janmashtami Vrata at home to seek his blessings. This auspicious day commemorates the earthly appearance of Krishna. The second day is celebrated as “NandoUtsav”

The most popular ceremony of Dahi-handi takes place on this day. Young boys climb up a human pyramid to break a pot filled with a concoction of milk, yoghurt, butter, honey which is the most popular of customs followed on Krishna Janmashtami. Lord Krishna had fondness for items prepared with milk like ghee, makhan ,rabdi etc.So generally dairy product desserts are prepared at every house and distributed to neighbors and friends.

I am sharing recipe of Rabdi which can be prepared instantly when you don’t have time in hand.Usually to make this dish, full tone milk is boiled and reduced to 1/4 th of the original quantity. But i have used condensed milk and prepared in just 30 minute.
